The product was great when it worked. It was easy to use to charge my phone and Ipod nano. However the charger died on me within 2 weeks (8 charges of use). The Battery pack still works, which is the part I care most about, but it sucks that the charger stopped working. It died after charging the battery pack for about 20 minutes. I noticed the pack didn't say it was charging anymore and found the wall charger died. It smelled like burnt electronics. Fortunately I can still charge the pack with my computer or Ipod wall charger usb ports. For a 65 dollar product, I expected the charger to work for more time than that.

I bought this a few months ago from Amazon to keep our iPhones charged while we went on our vacation. It worked beautifully, esp. as a backup charger.
One of the things I like about this is you can charge the Kensington battery at the same time you are charging something else plugged into it. For example...
AC -> Kensington Battery -> iPhone 3G
It's designed to work this way (so says the user manual) and it's very convenient. I keep mine in my laptop bag just in case I need to charge my iPod or Livescribe pen. It's small enough that it doesn't take up any room, and it has a nice battery indicator light on it to tell you how charged it is. A+ for a great product.

Great for long trips or when you do not have access to wall/car charger. It can almost trip your usage time of the iPhone.

I bought this for long plane trips to watch movies and listen to music on my iphone 3G S. This has meet my expectations, the battery and cables are simple to use and it charges my phone like it states. I originally bought the Kensington model K33442US, which is the battery that fits in the bottom of the iphone. If you do not already know, this charger will not work with an Otterbox case so I had to return it. I bought the Kensington model K33396US which works great. If you have a Otterbox this charger is the battery charger for you.

I thought needed a spare battery when I ordered this battery. I frankly have used it only one tiem since purchase. I have both a house charger and car charger for the iPhone and this back was just not needed. I don't regret the purchase as I always keep it charged and ready for a trip of travel to an unusual location. Plus I had read about the short battery life for the build in iPhone battery.It is well made.
