Very happy with the Zune player. Very functional, fast and easy to use. Screen could be little bigger. Zune Marketplace needs to increase catalog of music, tv, movies, and apps big time.

I have the Zune HD 16gb and love mine. I love the touch screen and how bright and crystal clear it is. The battery life is great. I think the sound is incredible for an mp3. I love that it has radio. I'm not into apps so much so the most important thing to me is the sound quality, memory, and battery. I love it all more than the ipod. HOWEVER, if you're looking for apps, go for the ipod for sure. It does irritate me that the Zune is pretty comparable in price but has less than 10 apps! It does not have the capability to playback youtube videos or audio books...bummer. I don't really care if the internet is on it or not other than to order music so for my purposes, I think the internet is fine. So, for me that works. The earbuds that came with it are terrible! The sound is muffled and they fall out of my ears constantly. I just wished for the price of this thing, it would've come with decent earbuds! It is sometimes annoying to see the screen blackout and you have to wake it up to turn up and down the volume or change songs but again, once I get a playlist going, I don't normally stop and start because I'm using it when running. Plus, it probably saves the battery. The Zune software is fine for me...a little more simple which is fine for me. I haven't had a problem with it at all. I still use itunes for my Christmas gift cards and the zune software automatically gets my songs and it is no problem getting them onto my zune easily and quickly. I love the looks, the sound and the screen most of all. Be prepared though to get new earbuds!!!

The Zune HD is quality at it's best. For music lovers, video fanatics and overall smiles of knowing you own the best portable MP3 player bar none. iZune HD (yes pun intended). Sadly most consumers follow a trend of following the masses instead of researching the facts to be able to attain the best product on the market. I'm satisfied with my 1st generation Zune HD, and I know that it's going to evolve into the portable music, video, graphic toy of choice. Do yourself a favor and test drive the Zune HD and you'll buy one.

I have been wanting a I-pod touch for so long....but when the ZuneHD came out I had to decide between them. There were all the apps on the I-pod and the HD radio on the ZuneHD. They both looked great but I thought the HD was a little nicer. The oled screen on the HD is beautiful, and the I-pod has all those apps. The I-pod upgraded its processor and has voice recognition (wow!) and all those apps as I have said. The final deciding factor was I could get the ZuneHD with all its features in the 16gb size and apple mainly just upgraded it's more pricey models. %#@* the apps, I got the ZuneHD. I love it.
